In case your monitor displays the "No input signal" on the screen and no image is showing up on your monitor, then you need to fix that problem as soon as possible.

There are various reasons that may lead to this error. However, to fix this error, you need to know the cause of the problem. To fix this issue, you need to know which component is defective. Anything can cause this problem, ranging from the cables that you connect to your monitor or the video card of your computer.

How to Fix a No-Input Signal on Your PC?

Below are the steps that you need to follow in order to fix a no-input signal on your computer.

Step 1: Power off your computer.

Step 2: Disconnect the cable that is connecting your monitor to your PC and then reconnect it. Please ensure that there is a firm connection. The most common cause of this issue is a loose connection.

Step 3: Reconnect the cable that connects your monitor to the PC. In case the monitor is not showing the signal on the screen after you reattach the cable to the monitor, then that means there is some issue with the cable only. There is a high possibility that the cable is damaged.

Step 4: Try to replace your monitor with another monitor. In case you see a "No input signal error on your screen, then that means the issue does not lie in the wires.

Step 5: Open your PC and then search for the video card. Take out the card and then keep it firmly in the right slot. If possible, insert your video card in some other slot on your motherboard. A video card that is not making a proper connection will not show any images on the monitor. Turn off your PC and then test your monitor again.

Step 6: Replace your video card. There is a chance that your video card is internally damaged and it is not letting you show a signal.
