Acer has some amazing home office monitors, However, there are some challenges. One of the challenges that users face is your monitor displaying no signal error. To resolve this problem, you must turn off and disconnect your computer and monitor.

In case the problem is persisting, then you must check that the right display resolution and input settings are selected. Also, you must make sure that all the cables are undamaged and secure.

Here, we are available with 6 troubleshooting solutions that you can try to fix your problem. So, let's discuss these solutions one by one.

Solution 1: Disconnect and Restart Your Monitor and PC

Before you try anything else, you need to first power off your monitor and then disconnect it from your PC. Wait for 30 seconds and then reconnect it. Then, turn on your monitor as well as the computer.

Solution 2: Adjust the Input Settings of Your Monitor

You must ensure that your monitor is set to the right input. For this, you need to first know the kind of cable you are presently using. Generally, Acer monitors have 4 kinds of cables. These include VGA, DVI, DisplayPort, and HDMI.

You need to first identify your cable and then insert it in your monitor. You can see the input button n the right side of your monitor. You can either see it on the backside or at the bottom. Once you press the input button, you will see a box on your monitor. Now, find the input that matches your cable.

Solution 3: Check the Display Cables You are Using

After checking that your monitor is set to the right input, you are required to check the display cable connections. Firstly, you need to ensure that your connection is tight on both ends. A loosely connected cable can cause a lot of issues.

One of the issues is no signal error. Even a slightly broken connection can cause this problem. Also, check for physical damages on the cable. If there are some serious damages, then change the cable.

Solution 4: Try Adjusting your Monitor's Resolution Settings

Your monitor has a lot of display resolutions, which can relay back to your PC. Sometimes the wrongly set display resolution of your PC's graphics card can cause this problem. This can even lead to the Acer monitor not turning on the problem. To fix this issue, you must restart your PC in safe mode.

Solution 5: Check Display Cable Connectivity

A lot of computers have a graphics unit, which corresponds to the connections of your home. Therefore, you must make sure that the monitor cable is connected to the graphics and not to the motherboard.

Solution 6: Try Resetting BIOS or CMOS

When you reset CMOS, it takes you back to the old configurations and helps you to fix your problem. In this process, you need to remove the CMOS battery from the motherboard. After that, hold the power button to drain excess power.

Reinsert the battery after a minute. In the end, restart your PC and check whether the display is working or not.

So, these are the solutions that you need to apply to fix Acer monitor no signal issues.
