How should I Split the Screen Between Two Programs?

Step 1: Select the window you wish to snap to one side of Windows. Select the title bar and then drag it to any of the sides of the screen until you see the mouse pointer touching the edge. Now, the screen will flash a light of where the window is going to appear. After that, release the mouse button.

Step 2: Now, the window is going to snap to the side of the screen and then you are going to see all the other programs appearing on the opposite side of your screen. 

Step 3: Select one of the program windows. This window will snap to the other side of the screen and then you are going to see two windows side by side. 

Windows generally occupy 50% of the screen by default. This can easily be adjusted by keeping your mouse between the windows. The pointer will change to a two-headed arrow. You can just select it and drag it to change the width of Windows. 

How should I Split the Screen Between 4 Programs?

If your screen is large, then you can view 4 windows side by side on the screen. This process is a lot like snapping a window to either side of the screen.

Step 1: Select the program window that you wish to start with and then drag the title bar to the top-right corner of your screen. Once your mouse pointer reaches the corner, you are going to see a flash of where the window is going to appear. After that, you must let go of the mouse button. 

Step 2: Now, you must drag the window to the lower-right corner of the screen. When you leave your mouse, then you will see two windows on the right side. The windows will be vertically placed one below the other. 

Step 3: Go to the left side of your screen and then you will see all the other open windows. Select the program that you want and then snap the window to the left side. You can leave it as it is or drag it to the upper-left corner of the screen. 

Step 4: In the end, select a program and then pin it to the left corner. Select the option of unsnap a window and then drag the title bar away from the corner.
